Doctors transplanting goat testicles into men.

That’s the first thing I heard after I turned on the TV in the middle of the History Channel’s Seven Deadly Sins “Sloth” episode.  This caught my attention right away (would it not catch your attention?!)  Turns out, transplanting goat testicles was advertised as a cure for sloth and sexual impotence in men in the early 1900s by quacks. The episode continued on to cover other aspects of “sloth” but that was a pretty radical idea, so it stayed with me.

As I was recounting the episode to Lus after he got home, we were discussing the procedure and I asked Lus if he would ever get it done (*horrifed look* “NO! Why would I do that?!”) and after laughing at his face I felt silly:

Anea: So, what if you got it done then you had sex and your wife got pregnant with little goat babies? They would come out all hairy….
Lus: *laughs*
Anea: ……
Lus: …..
Anea: That’s where Draenei come from.

On a related, yet not silly note, the conversation also reminded me of some sketches I had seen of queensimia’s featuring Troll and Draenei infants and their growth into adults.  Very interesting observations.  (Plus you get to see itty bitty baby Draenei hooves, which are squee.)
