It’s my party

It’s my party and I’ll faction change if I want to.

I tamed Humar the Pridelord a few days ago and as I looked at him next to my Dwarf, they didn’t look right together.  So, now my hunter is a Tauren and she and Humar make quite the handsome couple, I must say.  Fearsome.  They’ll also be drawn by Freyuni soon!  Exciting.

Thankfully, I had an awesome BRD group that knew where they were going and knew how to have a laugh once in a while.  You guys rocked.

Also, I thought this was hilarious and I wish I could macro it to my Volley:

Oh, and Blizz?  This isn’t how bows work.

And!  Since Razorstorm asked to see, I present to you my newest pet, Sugarcrisps.

Nice, she looks badass! I like your new blog design and header, too. Draenei warrior alt?May I ask what addon you’re using that makes your text have a nicer font than mine does? I think I’m using Chatter, and I can’t remember if it has font options, but yours looks so good, I should investigate to see whether it does or not!

oooh love the new look! <3and d’awwww moocow hunter!!! I always want a baby moocow, but something about the female tauren animations irks me. (petty reason not to roll them, I know, but I can’t help it!) Hopefully I’ll catch you on FM or in SAN soon! :)

Fun times! I actually really like BRD. Beautiful, intricate, involved instance. Unfortunately, I think the way people use instances make it an impractical place. All anyone wants to do is "run" the place. As in, get in, get the satchel or kill the Emperor and leave. That just misses so much. It should really be experienced over the course of several visits with a variety of goals. Loot the Ring of Law or the Vault. Get the key. Attune to Molten Core. Get some engineering schematics. Visit the Dark Iron vendor. Turn in the Love Potion. Smelt and smith with Dark Iron.I think the original set of quest chains that went there helped with the experience . . . but that’s a part of WoW past. The prevelant smash & grab approach to instances just isn’t compatible with BRD.

@Vidyala: I do use chatter, but actually what I use to make ALL my fonts look nice is a bit of substitution. In the Fonts folder in your WoW folder, there are four default fonts (I believe). What I’ve done is taken the font that I like, pasted it four times in that folder and renamed them to match the four "original" fonts, then deleted the originals. So, whenever my UI wants to use the Fritz Whatever one, it uses Mine. So, everything on my UI matches nicely :) (I hope that made sense!)@Tart: Actually, originally I didn’t like the moocow animations either, but once I played one for a bit, I really grew to love how she moves and her animations. (Except for that damn bow animation – WTB logic) I may pop in on SAN tonight, hopefully you’ll be there!@Nanuki: Thanks! @Jaedia: I can’t either! I will be Awesome and will warrant it’s own post! :>@Jack: I would actually like it to be broken up into smaller chunks too. Prison is nice and bite size, but it seems that "Upper City" is the entire rest of the thing? (Which is HUGE) And confusing! I’ve not been there a whole lot and I would get lost so quick it wouldn’t even be funny. I think that the way the quests worked back in the day would be very nice for now! But yes, everyone wants the "Wham, bam, thank you ma’am" approach. I hate hearing "gogogo" in lowbie instances :/

BRD was broken very poorly for LFD, IMO. Fineous Darkvire, the dude you have to kill for the quest to get the key, should have been the Lower City target. Once you have the key, you can skip the Lower City (which is about 1/3 of the instance). There’s even a short cut to the Emperor through the lava channels. You hit the first few hallways through a garrison, jump out a window, fight a few elementals from the lava and come out by the Lyceum in under 10 mins. Personally, I hate doing it that way. I mean, it’s cool to do once or occasionally, just because you can . . . but you miss so much. But it falls right in with "how instances are done" now.
